Caitlin Cleary – Executive Summit Chair

Caitlin is from Princeton, New Jersey. She received her undergraduate degree from Brown University. Caitlin has a focus on environmental law and is also a member of the Tulane Law & Sexuality Journal. Last summer she worked for the Governor of New York’s General counsel and is an extern for the Louisiana Fair Housing Action Center. In her free time she enjoys running and rock climbing.

Domenica Borja – President, Tulane Environmental and Energy Law Society

Domenica is originally from Guayaquil, Ecuador but grew up in Fairfield County, CT. She attended Emory University for her undergraduate and majored in Environmental Science and minored in Political Science, focusing on how the two interact in the world of environmental law and policy. She chose Tulane Law for its Environmental Clinic program and the unique landscape that the Gulf South presents for environmental issues. In her free time Domenica enjoys hiking, yoga, reading and live music. Outside of being the president of EELS, she is an alumnae of the Environmental Law Clinic, a member of TULLSA and is the 3L SBA Class Board President.

Alicia Harris – Vice President, Tulane Environmental and Energy Law Society and Logistics Chair

Alicia is from Wilmington, North Carolina. She received her undergraduate degree from Davidson College. Alicia participated in the Tulane Summer Abroad Programs in Rhodes, Greece for the Maritime program and Trinity College in Cambridge for the International Law and Human Rights program. She is interested in pursuing environmental and energy law and is a member of Tulane Maritime Law Journal. Alicia enjoys photography, baking, and reading about geopolitics in her free time.

Steve Anton – Speaker Chair and Art/Design Chair

Steven is from Carlisle, Massachusetts. He received his undergraduate degree from William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Steven has an interest in environmental law and fair housing and is also a Co-chair for the Public Interest Law Foundation Auction Committee. Last summer he worked at the South Carolina Environmental Law Project where he focused on environmental issues facing the region. This semester he is an extern at the Louisiana Fair Housing Act Center and will be working for the EPA’s Region 2 Office in New York City and the Colorado Attorney General’s Natural Resources and Environmental Section. In his free time Steven enjoys playing music on one of his various instruments including the bass, drums, guitar, piano, and saxophone.

Andrea Wright – Speaker Chair

Andrea is from Chicago, Illinois. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in Environmental Science and Political Science. Andrea is interested in pursuing a career in water law and worked for the EPA this past summer. She is member of the Tulane Environmental Law Journal and serves in the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic. In her free time she enjoys hiking and painting.

Cassie Hemmer – Hospitality Chair and Technology Chair

Cassie is from Syracuse, New York. She received her undergraduate degree from Tulane University. Last summer, Cassie worked for the Arbor Day Foundation and is currently a member of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal. She has also completed a program with the Tulane Utility Vegetation Management Initiative. Cassie is currently focusing on environmental and maritime matters and will be working in the Aviation, Space & Admiralty litigation sector of the U.S. Department of Justice this summer. In her free time Cassie enjoys hiking, yoga, and exploring the various musical clubs New Orleans has to offer.

Walter Lapeyre – Finance Chair

Walter Lapeyre is from New Orleans. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and is interested in pursuing a career in environmental litigation. Walter enjoys a variety of activities in his free time including running, college football, and film.

Charles Lally – Outreach Chair

Charles Lally is from Chicago, Illinois, and graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in English in 2020. Charles is a 3L, the Senior Business Editor for Volume 36 of the Tulane Environmental Law Journal, and an alum of the Environmental Law Clinic and the Utility Vegetation Management Initiative. He is a legal intern at Ensemble Health Partners, and plans to practice environmental and maritime law in Washington State after graduation. In his free time, Charles is a member of the Tulane Fencing Club and enjoys running and bouldering.

Hannah Keller – CLE Chair

Hannah Keller is from Lexington, Kentucky, and has lived in Louisiana for over 15 years. Hannah graduated from Louisiana State University in 2019 and is a 3L at Tulane Law School. Hannah’s field of interest is environmental law as it relates to international shipping, maritime law, and maritime insurance. Hannah’s personal interests include Shotokan, painting, and gardening. Hannah is also a member of the Tulane Environmental Journal and a student attorney with the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic.

Alex Keiser – Transportation Chair

Alex Keiser is a 3L from New Orleans. She also attended Tulane for her undergrad education. Alex has interned with the EPA office of Administrative Law Judges and the Department of Justice Environment and Natural Resources Division in the Environmental Enforcement Section. She is a student-attorney in the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic and the senior managing editor of Volume 36 of the Tulane Environmental Law Journal. She also completed a program with the Tulane Utility Vegetation Management Initiative. Alex spends a lot of time outside reading, biking, and running. She plans to work in Texas after graduating this May.
